Summer Fun
Good lord, Japanese verbs. I swear they use their verbs for everything. You really don't even need a subject or an object. It's just...VERB. Verb conjugated a million times in a million different ways. It tells you everything you need to know...if you happen to remember that particular form. Can be quite a headache actually. But, I suppose it's pretty fun learning a new language so I forgive the mild insanity. Hey, least this is only an elementary class. I'm still kinda weirded out that this is my last class. I know that everyone is done and that I should be too but it's just weird. I haven't actually had to face the whole DONE thing yet. And technically, since I'm going to be taking UCLA Extension courses, I really won't be quite finished yet. However, I am totally looking forward to going home. None of this campus business anymore with all the walking and the sparse food supply.
I wanna go study Chinese in Taiwan. If all goes really well, I may get to spend a year there and become completely fluent like a proper Chinese person should be. That would be fun. Hai, tanoshii desu ne.
