long time lurker
First time (in months, apparently) poster. Its been a good long while, that's for sure.
Anyway, what's the big stink about this weather? Ive never hated winter, but I keep encountering these bitter, (maybe bitter cold) people. They hate Michigan like its a mean old mistress. Ive found out that, if dressed appropriately, even when the wind chill is 29 below, it can still be nice outside. This morning I was actually excited to experience this weather before the sun came up, when it was the coldest. The weatherman made it sound like it was Armageddon outside. At first my lungs actually hurt when I took the first few breaths, and then after that it was actually enjoyable. I have a hideous, giant winter coat. I figured that its SO giant and hideous, no one will even recognize me.
If you see a two little legs holding up this giant, red torso surrounded by fur and bobbing through the snow drifts, you may have spotted me. Like Waldo. But colder.
Ps. Do you remember finding the woman on the beach with the boobies in that book? In the 2nd grade we circled her, along with the word SEX in the dictionary, with a giant red sharpie. I guess boobs and sex never get old, even if we get older.
