it's been a while
so it has been forever since an update so i thought, eh why not? I am doing so very well. I had a very hard time saying goodbye to my favorite summer. Seriously, i absolutely loved this summer and i have never been more challenged, stretched and blessed in one summer. It wasn't all sunshine but it was great. I came back to school early for p.a. training and that was so much fun. I was very nervous but the group works so well together, what a great group assembled by God.
I have had a lot on my mind lately. Many things really: on what it means to be a Christian and how to preach the gospel without words also about how badly i want to travel and see more than the tourist view but the local's view. I want to see the world but at the same time i want to see change one child at a time and building into kids who don't have anyone who believes in them. I know what that's like...no one thought i would go anywhere when i was that girl from a single parent home whose mom can't even show to parent's night. Thanks to a few who could look past that and see potential. I want to be that person is someone's life whether here or in Africa.
Life is going really well. I am praying a lot, reading a lot, thinking a lot and of course going to classes and doing homework...a lot of night classes :0)!
