moving
so, i'm officilly going to be moving.
and it's a hell of a lot sooner than i expected.
my original plan was to renew my lease for the month of august, and in that month find a new place to live and a new job, while sticking around the current job during half the week just so i'll have a job. august was going to be the ideal month too, because i'm going to be travelling the second half of july.
so what happens? i can't stay here the month of august. so basically i need to find a place now, begin to move, and basically be moved in before i leave for vacation, all while still working down here a couple days a week since i know i won't be able to get a job up there until august. it's going to be a mess.
i've spent the past two days up in the breckenridge area, and i've checked out 5 different places in the process. for a part of colorado that's supposed to be so dog friendly, i had a really tough time finding places that allowed dogs. and most importantly, i wanted a place with a yard (yeah, that's going to be easy...) and yet, somehow, i pulled it off. i am torn between two places, one in silverthorne and one in breckenridge. the one in breck i am in love with, but it doesn't have a fenced in yard. so i think i'm going to go with the silverthorne one, which was my favorite until i saw the breck place. and i've weighed it out, and i think in the end it would make more sense to be at the silverthorne place, especially since it has an acre and a half of a fenced in yard (husky-proof, too).
and i got sick of looking at places. so i'm most likely going to call up there at the end of the day and agree to meet him up there in the next couple of days to sign the lease, and start moving in at the beginning of july.
i am still somewhat in shock that this is all happening. and happening so soon. but i'm very excited. now all i need is for winter to come :)
