when life gives you bee stings...
unfortunately not much to update on, i just felt like writing.
life is pretty much the same as always. work, work, work. a little time left over for fun. adriane and i went out on monday night. that ended up being some fun, crazy drunkenness at her friend's house where we were playing beirut.
and the law school update isn't that exciting, just a couple more rejections. duke (no surprise there) and rutgers (kind of surprised, but at least now this means i'm not moving to newark!)
this week is also holocaust awareness week. unfortunately i haven't been able to go to a whole lot of the events, but i did get to see michael berenbaum tonight. he was our keynote speaker, and it was just amazing. i feel like i don't need to go to as many of the other presentations though, because i've pretty much seen all of the survivors or the professors speak already. and the ones i wanted to see (or want to see) were either tuesday or are tomorrow. yesterday i worked all day, had enough time to go home and let raleigh out in between shifts. but basically i was at chili's for 10 hours straight. and tomorrow i'm working, although fortunately only lunch. i really couldn't work anymore than that, because tomorrow's litany, and i'm helping out with that tomorrow evening. it's also the round table, which focuses on us, the committee members, which should actually be pretty cool (assuming people actually show up).
and that is all for now i think. i don't know. i'm tired.
oh, i got stung by a bee on sunday. i got an allergic reaction and about half of my forearm was swollen and red. it still is a little bit. yes, that has been the highlight of my week.
