I think Walter Kovacs is going to be a more challenging Inmate than Q was. They have their similarities -- both definitely set in their ways -- but there's definitely more differences between them, and I know I'm not gonna be any help if I keep on comparing the two.
First thing I need to bear in mind is to never bring up Inara.

Something occurred to me when I was talking to my Inmate a while back, and I've given it a lot of thought since then. I went home when all that trouble with the Great Healer was happening, and I didn't give much thought to it because I didn't have an Inmate when I did it. But the more I thought about it the more I think that I still left you behind, especially when you'd gone out of your way to let me stay with you even when you haven't been feeling so well.
I'm glad that I got to go home and take care of some things there, but if I've got a reason for being sorry for running away, it's definitely you.
