Summary: "Creating a work of art isn't as hard as understanding one."
Feedback: It would be very sweet of you. :)

Author's Note: Written for the
Challenge #1 based on THIS PIC. (Lookit, isn't it cute?) Go check out the comm! The title comes from a discussion with valour about metaphors and words and how they meet and blend. She also made up the summary for me. :)

Metaphords

Viggo always says art is subjective. Orlando knows this and he's no philistine. He has three A-levels after all, one in photography. He can appreciate all kinds of creativity. He's created a few things himself and now he's creating something from a half-remembered magazine advertisement he saw somewhere long ago.

It's Liv's curler and Liv's kitchen table, and Liv's wine he's drinking. The gummi bears are Liv's too, liberated from an all-night grocery on Tory Street. Liv's generous with her things, her time, her love. Orlando's grateful for her friendship.

Green gummi bears are in short supply and the red ones are nearly gone, but there are plenty of white, yellow and orange manning the curler like a steam roller.

Gratefully, he watches Liv rescues the orange bear from impending flattening by the curler. He knows how that bear feels.

Orlando feels that way when he doesn't understand Viggo's art.
