Hello!
I forgot about you! It has been a long time since I have posted! It is 6:30 am on a September 2020 morning and I have a moment to spare!
George and Giulia are in L.A. visiting Grandma, Grandpa, and Tio Danny and Emma! Not to mention Uncles and Aunties! They are having a great time!
I am at home because I cannot fly... I just started the school year, also I am 27 or 28 weeks pregnant. I am just entering into our 3rd trimester with baby #2. We are waiting to find out if it is a boy or girl!
Giulia is now rounding the corner and will turn 3 in March! She is vivacious! I miss both George and Giulia right now.
We are completely enthralled with Dave Ramsey and we are saving money like crazy! The reason is to make sure we have enough money for the following transitions in the next 6-9 months: have a baby, go on maternity leave, move into an airbnb, put everything into storage and move out, clean and stage our house to sell, sell our house, buy a new house, move into the new house, and then have George's family buy a manufactured home to put on the land!
They are moving up here hopefully by May 2021! We have no idea how all of this will actually work out, but we are trusting in God.
I actually have a moment to breathe right now a bit before the storm, I suppose.
I am 37 years old now, and George is almost 38 years old. We will have both of our babies before I turn 38 in July.
I do have gestational diabetes again, but I am able to control it mostly through diet. I was trying the Keto diet for a while. I weighed 165 when I got pregnant, lost 11 pounds in 3 months because I was sick from throwing up from the first trimester, not to include not having an appetite! And now I am back to that weight of 165. I hope to not gain too much more, but I know that I will. I already feel huge!!!
After I have the baby, I want to lose all that weight and would love to get down to 145 pounds, that is about as much as I weighed when I first met George... 6 years ago! I can't believe it!
We've been married 4 years and some change and we met 6 years ago! It has all seemed like a dream. I can't believe we are getting ready to sell our house as well. We really do not have that much furniture and we are packing things into boxes slowly and decluttering. I was supposed to get rid of a bunch of books and baby clothes this weekend, but instead, I prepared for my Dave Ramsey class and slept. A lot. I didn't realize how tired I was from working my first full week of work last week.
I love my job and feel so fortunate! We both work in Vancouver, so we are looking to move to SW Washington. We were debating to move to MN for about 6 months and really looked into it, but it doesn't make sense for one of us to lose our job since we are a dual income household.
I know this baby will come quick! It is due on December 23rd, 2020, so a Christmas baby!
I know that my mom will come here to help out for a couple of weeks. We don't really have the ability to host right now though, because at the current moment our kitchen is completely ripped up. We had a water leak in the kitchen floor because of the hose pipe on August 5, 2020. So, we've been without a kitchen for about 2 months. I have been eating so many frozen meals. I am so tired of them! However, at least we have a microwave! Also, we have been using our firepit a little bit here and there to cook. I think they will actually start working on the kitchen in the next couple of weeks hopefully!! I hope it will be done before the baby comes.
Anyway, I best get to work now. It was great to write a little bit! I miss blogging I suppose!
Take care!!
