It is a new year! I can't believe it! George and I had a wonderful time in MN. It was his first white Christmas ever! We went sledding! We played football in the snow on Christmas. He saw my family again on both sides, but mostly we hung out with mom and dad. We watched a football game together. It was really fun! I'm so glad that I got a chance to have George in MN for Christmas.. however, it was very expensive!!! We had to buy 2 new one way tickets because George got stranded in Denver! He missed the plane because he was waiting the whole day at the wrong gate, then they switched the gate at the last minute.. he ran over to the new one and they had closed the plane..and wouldn't let him on even though he was still early.. then when I went to the gate they told me that my reservation did not exist! Even though I had the paper printed out! They had cancelled my ticket without letting me know! OMG! So, I had to buy a new one. Here, we thought we were going to travel together the whole time. I got home at 3 PM and George got home at 9 PM. We still managed to spend New Years together... George got drunk, had heartburn, (thought it was a heart attack), so we called 911... the ambulance came, they checked out his heart, all was working well, then we drove to the emergency hospital, and by the time we got there he felt better. So at 3 AM on New Years, we drove home and went to bed. What a night! Then his phone died... and also we are going to spay our kittens and I am working on my progress reports. So.. a lot has happened since the last time I wrote. We are going to start saving money now! We have been spending spending spending! It is winter and we are hibernating. George is recovering from his hangover, and we are watching the Walking Dead. These are wonderful days. I love them. However, vacation ends today and it is back to work tomorrow. My parents are both going to be in Alabama this week. Richie will start his busy life again tomorrow. I don't know the next time we will be in MN.. perhaps in 2 years for Christmas? Since we will be going to LA for next Christmas. It is very expensive to fly cheap.. believe it or not. We will never take a cheap flight again! It is more worth it to have better costumer service. That is for sure!! Anyway, George and I are very much in love. And we are so happy that it is now 6 months since we got married. No longer do we have to plan such an expensive and delightful wedding. We now will have time to save money for having a baby! Life is so exciting right now. :) We will be taking Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Training to help us. We are going to start working out and eating better. We love being together. I'm glad George is finally feeling better. And I am glad that he was able to spend time with his friends on New Years. We will see Angie and Kerryn next Saturday maybe.
