Day Three - First Full Day

So. We finally slept and thank Jesus for that because what a day it has been. We got up, got a dunk'n donuts coffee, chatted up the cashier about the product placement in One Tree Hill (seriously, it's AMAZING to go a place where you talk about OTH and people know what it is!). After that we went to EUE Screen Gem Studios...2 hours early. I may have been a bit anxious. So we meandered down the street to a little shopping area called the Cotton Exchange where Two Sisters Bookery, a place frequented and recommended by Hilarie herself. Well the sweetest lady ever and one of the owners, Brooks, just talked and talked about Hilarie and how sweet and pretty she is.  Anyways, after confessing my love for Hil, Brooks - being the amazing woman she is- took my name and phone number in the event that Hilarie visits while I'm in town. She calls...I'm losing my mind; seriously, I won't know what to do.

After that -and a twenty minute detour due to a random ass St. Patrick's Day parade- we were at the studio. And oh man, it's SO cool. I wanted to take pictures of everything for you guys, however, it's strictly forbidden. We toured the bottom of floor and patio/pool of Naley's house. SO COOL. There were lots of pictures of the three J's together, the one of Haley's parents made me 'aww'. Then we saw Red Bedroom Records -also badass. And Brooke's beach house which is...well Brooke's. Cool because I sat in the chair at the bar that many a OTH cast member has sat in, not so cool because it's Brooke. lol

After that, we went to lunch but took a detour and saw Lucas and Karen's/LP's house. I jumped out of the car and took pictures. We ate at the Mellow Mushroom - delicious. Went downtown, took pictures - I haven't located the table, but oh I will. We took a tour by carriage through historic Wilmington...which was awesome until your's truly left her damn purse on it. A mile run and an asthma attack later (and a REALLY cute/sweet guy at Port Java City helping) and I had it back.

We saw C|B and the door still say's Karen's Cafe...woot woot!

We stopped by the bookstore again to visit with Brooks and ya know...just in case Hil was there. And then...

We went to the River Court. And I almost wanted to cry lol. The basketball goals (not the posts, but the backboards and rims) were taken down but it was still glorious. Some of Peyton's lyrics were still stained on the court, we spent a good half hour there just snapping pictures.

After we left, we stopped by Peyton's house. And then we went to see Naley's season 5 and 6 house, but it was too dark, so we'll go back tomorrow.

The people here are SO nice and friendly, we've had a great time and I can't wait to get out and explore again tomorrow.
