Had a really good night last night.
My wife reminded me it was Craft beer night at the Oktoberfest grounds. So instead of me cooking we got to go out and drink beer (WINNING!) When we got there I saw Peter, who is in my Saturday D&D group working security. Of course he started hitting on my wife and didn't know I was there. all in good fun. We quickly got our drink tickets and saw Norm there. George Wendt ("Norm" from the TV show Cheer's) was showcasing his book, and I got to take my picture with him. he seemed to be hard of hearing, but at least I could say I shared a drink with America's most famous barfly.
There were 98 beers to sample. Thankfully about half of them I had already tried, but there were a few microbreweries that I have not been able to sample. Rush river brewery had a really good porter. My wife liked Rhinelander's Chocolate bunny stout, even tho it run's into the problem of most microbrewery stouts by not being well conditioned.
For the last 3 weeks, my wife and I have been attending "Financial peace University" it is a class put forth by Dave Ramsey about fiances. As my parents never did give me any financial advice except "Get a job" or "We don't have enough money for that" Thankfully my wife and I don't have much Debt to deal with. My Wife is VERY good about taking care of her Debt and except for the house we have very little in interest bearing debt.
In other news...
I start my new job at ACE hardware distribution center monday. Part-time 26-35 hours to start, but likely will advance quickly and soon
