Good curling!
Won my game of curling tonight. In the sixth end we were down two points. Opponent had an easy take out to go up 5 and pretty much end the game. He missed it and allowed us to score.
THen in the 7th end, my skip made a VERY difficult double raise to be shot rock. That is.. he hit one stone.. which hit another stone, which ended up in the center. Incredibly difficult shot when the first stone is about 6 feet away from the center, and the second stone is 4 feet away. need perfect weight and angle otherwise it is a miss.
So here we were in the 8th end, with it tied up. Opposing vice (that is the 3rd person throwing the 6th rock out of 8) makes a take out through a very tight port. I have to do the exact same shot... I make and even do better by rolling in a little bit behind a guard I rubbed off on. Vice misses his 2nd shot, and I throw a guard up. For the last shot of the game the opposing skip has to make a diffiult double take out with two rocks lined up. he hits both, but not hard enough to clear them out and my team wins.

Made it home. There was a big drift at the end of the driveway. There is now a car stuck in the drift at the end of the driveway (But not in the way of plows coming through). rather scary out there tonight. Going to be some horrible drifts to dig out of tomorrow.
