Spain passing even better law for gays
Now the lower house of the Spanish Congress has passed legislation similar to that recently passed in Canada. But this one is even more liberal in that it will also allow gays to adopt children. WOW!!! Amazing in a country that is so heavily Catholic. Not surprisingly, the Vatican is denouncing the legislation (more and more drama for them as Europe becomes increasingly secular). Anyway, I'm wondering if I should be thinking about moving to Canada or Europe, especially if Bush gets to nominate more than one Supreme Court justice in the next few years. Hopefully the other eight justices will remain healthy, and it will be only one. Cross your fingers.
