Stuff I got (to be updated as I get more):

From parents:
-Snoopy bandaids I picked out yesterday
-A Newsweek I picked out yesterday I wanted to read
-awesome pj pants I picked out yesterday
-t-shirt, necklace, and earrings from Hawaii
-AK state flag
-Christmas Peanuts boxers
-gum
- $60 of iTunes gift card-age
-real quality ukulele from Hawaii!!!! (I've had 2 different cheap souvenir shop ones that I gave up on because the first string would go wickedly out of tune by the time I tuned the last string)
-no scavenger hunt this year :( Made me very sad. I even reminded mom yesterday! The last couple years since David and I have been all grown up, the big thing at the end of the scavenger hunt has been some serious cash. I could use some serious cash.. Oh well.

From bro:
-The Simpsons movie (in a box set thing with Simpsons figurines). That was cool. I love that movie and was gonna get it anyways.

From other relatives:
-$$$
-I'm sure more will be coming. My mom's side of the family has never been known for timely gift sending

From Mike and Kerry:
-groovy green hippie-ish Prana bag that is something I'd actually use. They got it so I don't have to use a sock as a purse anymore :p

From Karen and my boys:
-hardcover, fully annotated, lots of room for notes, Walden- Thoreau. She didn't even know I started reading it over Thanksgiving in my little used portable Thoreau. I'm so excited to highlight and write all over and love this book! It's so beautiful!

From myself:
-Subscription to the IHOP prayer room
-New ear piercing (almost plural piercings except I took one out)

From God:
-Jesus
-a nice couple inches of fresh Christmas morning snow. It snowed nonstop allll day and it was beautiful :)
-immeasurably more

From Uncle Sam:
-just got my new passport in the mail that I paid uber $$ for

I got my dad a blood glucose monitor (mom's idea) because he was jealous of mine and wanted one to play with. He also got a bag of Hershey Kisses. He wants me to grab my monitor, and then we can have a contest and eat kisses and see how high we can get our sugars. Seeing as he's not diabetic (yet.. he is at risk for type 2), I think I'd win. And by win, I mean really really lose healthwise.

Last night after church, my boys invited me over the watch a movie, so I spent all of Christmas eve night across the street with my other family, all four of us watching movies on Ryan's bed. We watched the Animaniacs Christmas toons collection (DeMay family tradition, though not so much the last few years, so I thought I'd bring it across the street). Then we watched the second half of The Road to El Dorado. And then the boys went to bed and I got to be Santa. I've never been Santa before. But the boys had written a letter to Santa, and Karen was worried that Ryan (7) might catch on to her handwriting, so she had me write the letter back. Very exciting!
