How I Just LOVE Chem Lab In the Morning...
I would imagine that being in college provides some incentive to think and use ones brain-after all that's what its there for. But, I don't think that I have ever met so many dim-witted people in my entire life! In lab this morning at about 8am we had an "Angelina S." episode in which a group of girls went to take the temperature of a liquid and couldn't get a reading for 10 minutes or so. So they whined and complained for about 5 of those 10 minutes, but the TA was asleep on my lab partner's coat-so Mr. Lei Feng didn't hear a thing. Why were they having such difficulty-is a question you may ask, so I shall fill you in. The thermometer was UPSIDE DOWN and STILL in the CASE!! I understand that it is early in the morning, but really... And just to make you laugh a little more..ponder this for a moment. I live on a floor which is inhabited by pot smoking and booze drinking boys who are always down the girls hallway, so it never really smells like a bed of roses unless a streaker goes running down the hall with a perfume bottle (it has really happened!). This morning, while walking to class, one of my dense acquaintances said "my...it smells like spring out here and it smelled like spring when I opened my door this morning...I just want it to be Spring." Now, unless Spring smells like a combination of worms, mud, pot and alcohol, I believe that she has been hanging around the boys too much (if ya know what i'm sayin!)
