Cliff, Shag, Marry....
So shingo_the_pest is a wonderful author who's continuing story for the Star Trek fandom I am following avidly recieved a challenge from a friend asking her to pick from three people provided for her. The premise of the challenge is that a friend supplies you with three names and you pick who you would shag, marry, and throw off a cliff.
Naturally, this is a hilariously fun thing to do and she asked for more names, which I provided. In a counter-challenge, she gave me some names, and I found myself here- sitting in boxers and a Tshirt in front of my computer and picking.
She gave me: Chekov, Uhura, and Captain Pike
First off, I must admit that this was a challenge for me, because if we're talking Nu!Trek or TOS!Trek I'd be willing to shag all of them. But I set my mind to it and came up with my answers.

I would completely be willing to shag her AND the others, but as this calls for only one pick each I had to look down to each of the positives and negatives. As lovely as it would be to marry her, I think we'd drive one another batshit- I'm a control freak, she's a sweety... I like domination... I can't picture her willing to dom me. as for a quick shag, I don't think once I'd had her I'd want to stop, so best get rid of the temptation, yes?

Because we all know he'd make a fucking awesome one-night stand. Just imagine that face mid-orgasm. Really, ladies (and gents, for that matter!) I've always liked Chekov, but I don't think I'd be able to marry him, though- I'd feel horrible for liking scotch better than vodka, and I'd never be able to agree that it'd been invented in Russia. Plus, I don't like it when my long-term partners know super-advanced mathematics- never works out for me for some reason. Possibly because I'm an English major.

What is there to say? I've had a complete fetish for the character since his premier in the original Pilot, "The Cage". He's got this entire fatalist approach that I just.... Plus, even when he's incapacitated or sidelined from paralysis, he has a wonderful sense of pride and decorum that I'd so love to see every day. I also see how much he'd miss the Enterprise in Nu!Verse, and that alone tugs at my heart strings. The fact that I'd be willing to screw his brains out from here till kingdom come (LOOK AT THOSE EYES!) has nothing to do with it.
