One of the last updates, hopefully

Please pardon any typos. I'm feeling a little lazy this morning, and my fingers are cold. Anyways, here's what's new in the land of the not-so-free...

I just got back from the gym with Ross, and I put up some new personal bests on my lifts. Did the Crossfit Total (www.crossfit.com), which is the total lbs you lift, single-rep maxes, for squat, overhead press, and deadlift. Squatted 375, pressed only 145, and dead lifted 435. New PRs for the leg lifts, the press i'm not so happy about, but whatever. New best total of 955. Nothing else really new in the physical fitness department, since we haven't had much time to do it with QRF being set up differently this time. But whatever, hopefully things wind down and I'm back in the states by the end of March.

Speaking of back to the states...I won't be at this base, so don't worry about any more care packages or stuff like that. Honestly, I have plenty of snack'ems to last for the rest of deployment, and then some! Thanks to everyone who sent things. It's greatly appreciated. Sadly, I won't be here for a bit. A few days' worth will probably be spent getting settled into a routine at the new place. We'll be there running missions til our time here is up. Sucks, cuz why do something like that right near the end of a deployment, right? Well, who knows, the army works in mysteriously frustrating ways.

Should be back to the states by the end of March, from what I've been hearing. Expect me no later than mid-April, if anything. I'll still get block leave in June, or at least that's what I figure because I haven't heard otherwise. Nothing else is really new. I'm in good health, the cold is going away and I'm about fully recovered from that. I should have access to internet and phones at the new place I'm going, so I won't be totally out of touch. Once I get settled in, you'll hear from me again. So yeah, hope everything goes well, and be in touch :)
