It's 9:30 in the morning, and I'm awake. Ugh. It's because we have electricians here installing wires and outlets and stuff. The two of them are Hispanic. And I can't help but feel lazy around them. They're doing this hard work, suffering under the direction of my crazy mom, not complaining at all, whilst I either sit on the couch munching on Cheerios or sit in my room typing away on my computer. I'm momentarily starting to feel like I should be doing more. Experiencing the world in different ways, and not just reading about it. I should get a job. Something backbreaking, local, and requiring little actual talent. If only that were my style.
In other news, my mom is crazy. Getting a new panel box installed is understandable. Now she's a little upset that they have to damage the walls in order to put in wires and new outlets. And in the main stage of changes, the garage, they're "messing up" our brand-new insulation that we just finished installing last night. Oh joy. It's funny, because my mom asked for advice on various electricity related options, took absolutely none of it, and still wanted my assistance. I gave it, reluctantly. At least once Thursday is done with, things might be back to normal? This weekend proves to be a real squeaker anyway: Tim in town, Vanessa wants to see me, mini-Mario Party with the posse quite possibly, yeah...
