She was incredibly generous with the students. She was supposed to watch three Chekhov scenes with three sets of students and spent so much time with the first two that she didn't get to the last scene. I late found out that she did a private lesson with the third pair and was actually late to the next event because she was still working with them.
I'm feeling much, much better, thanks. She was here for a celebration of her father, Romulus Linney, the late playwright, whose papers are now here. But she said that whenever she is on location, she usually tries to call up the nearest college and offers to do a master class. So nice.
So sorry you've been so sick! Gah...last time I had pneumonia, it would take 20 minutes to go from couch to kitchen and make a cup of tea. Such wicked stuff! Yay for you getting such an interesting treat of an experience--sounds like you deserved it.
I wonder if MM ever taught students how to giggle on camera? :-D
Thanks. I think I got off with a pretty light case compared to your's. I don't want to gloat, but I get another treat this week--a trip to NYC for a long weekend.
Thanks, I'm feeling a lot better today. My big fundraiser went off beautifully so that helped tremendously but I also think the antibiotics have finally done their job. I hope you are on the mend. I've never tried Vicks -- does it help?

Love LL. Ever since she played one of my favourite book characters, Mary Ann in Tales of the City.

Glad things are going well otherwise, and it sounds like your health is on the up swing!
