It feels damn good to be back!!! We're through with the war here, and I'm safe and sound (thank God!). It seems like ages ago now. Since then a lot of things changed. I'll start off by telling you how sorry I am to make you worry... what I did (or not did, to be exact) was really uncool. I've should've posted sooner. Reading all your replies here moves me - YOU ARE FRIGGIN' AMAZING! A huge, gigantic THANK YOU to all of you! You rock, ladies :)
Okay then, let's see... after posting the last update, my friend Rima was kind enough to offer me her house for an unlimited amount of time until things cool down around the area where I live. She lives in a southern city and that's where I spent nearly a month living only with Rima. My parents visited almost every weekend and it was really fun. Although it wasn't nice to have the thought of "Is there a siren going off there now?" in my head all the time. We had an awesome time, and the pure highlight was making her six-month-old niece having "Ballack" as her first word!!! Gosh, I gotta admit life without WM is kinda empty... I mean, UEFA matches, Bundesliga and even the English national league are fun and all, but it's only bits and pieces of the original united team. Waiting for another 4 years... agonizing. I'll be 21 then - scary!
After that mess was over, school year began as usual and I simultaneously studied for the SAT test. At that phase I kinda stopped living like a normal human being and studied practically all the time. It was a nightmare, but if that's what it takes to get to a proper uni, then I'm all over it. The hard work paid off and I scored 658 (the scoring system is different than the American SATs, here they're from 200 to 800), whereas the average is about 530 :D Recently I've been trying to apply to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Thanks to my score, I won't have to take English class at uni :))) Also, influenced by the WM, I've been into studying German. Bought books and listened to German music. Maybe even study it in depth at uni. It's funny to finally understand what Rammstein and die Aerzte are singing about haha ^_- Frankly, Rammstein are a tad kinky and pervy with their lyrics but that's okay *lol*.
Ummm what else? it's Hanukka now, and Christmas is right around the corner. My friend Natali is here for a month. She came from New Zealand to pay us a visit after not seeing each other for two years. And Rima's coming tomorrow for a week so it's certainly gonna be a merry xmas! Finally, most of my best friends are with me and not scattered around the globe :)
So, dear friends, I wish you all HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Promise to post quickly next time.
Hugs hugs hugs and kisses ♥
