Yesterday was my long awaited day OFF. I take great pleasure in writing OFF on my calendar, just so I know it's a day that belongs to me. I went to Bruce and Paulette's at around 10 in the morning to get all the house sitting info. This is going to be wonderful! First off, I love their dogs. There's Roscoe, a schnauzer (I have no idea how to spell that) and Lucy, a coyote. She likes to climb on the roof. Anyway, the house is mine, the spa is mine, the view is mine, the media center is mine. All until the 3rd. Actually, one thing kind of stinks. The Pasternack house is always filled with food. At any given time, I could open up their refrigerator door and find: a lasagna (one meat, one vegetarian), terriaki chicken (always), at least 3 prepared salads from CPK, every kind of cream cheese and schmear (with bagels to match), etc. But, seeing as how they were going out of town, they chucked all the food. So, it's looking like I've got to go food shopping. And dammint! I want some company out here. Yeah, it's fun house sitting, but only when you've got people to share it with! So, c'mon you's guys! Get on over here and we'll party hammer style.
I'm kind of dreading work today. I had the loveliest day off yesterday, and now it's back to the stink of fish and chips. Oh well, I'm only working four hours, so I shouldn't complain. But, shit! I'm almost broke! I think I have about twenty dollars left in my wallet. That's it! I need my paycheck NOW. In fact, whe Santa came into my work on Sunday, I sat on his lap and asked him for world peace and a big fat paycheck. We'll see, won't we?
Anyway, gotta go get cleaned up and everything. I didn't take a shower yesterday and I feel all greasy. yuck.
Soon,
Kerry
