Tired but thankful
Today has been an emotional one for me. I took &SteveBoddey to his doctor’s appointment on Monday and he was given some medicine. He started taking it yesterday, but had a bad reaction to it. He’s fine, but it was a little scary at the time. He’s been given another medication to take and seems to be doing better now.
A friend of ours, who has cancer, came to visit this morning. Every time I see him, I am thankful he is still with us and looking well and happy, but it also makes me look at my own life and feel grateful. My husband is going through a difficult time at the moment, but it will pass and he’ll be OK. We are in good health, we enjoy good food, have a lovely home, people who love us and we have a wonderful relationship.
I am very thankful, tired but thankful.
