I haven't been on here for a while, mainly due to my discovering the world of forums!
Right, let me think what has happened to me!
I went to go see Liverpool and Nottingham Vet schools, both of which were very nice but I have to say that I loved Nottingham's Sutton Bonnington Campus so much! I really hope that I get in there because it was all lovely and countrysidey and quaint. Plus they had a dairy farm where the cows were milked by robots!! You could also take a horse with you (no, not to be milked by robots!) and do DIY livery, I wonder if they'd take a dog? Jet/Poppy could be the flat dog, second thoughts Jet because Poppy's midnight cramps wouldn't go down well with potential housemates! Omg, my Mum has already started packing for me, I think the whole open-day think gave her a bit of an awakening that it is about a year away. Get this, she came back from Somerfield and presented me with a pack of teatowels for when I go!
Hmm...let me thinky. Oh yes, I was 1/3 people to get a distinction on the Workshop-uk pathology stem-cell research paper! Out of 400 potential vets and medics. Hopefully that could mean that I might actually get into uni! Time will tell I guess.
Went to see Pirates yesterday. It was excellent, although the Davey Jones et al, barnacle encrusted star-fish head thingies weren't my favourites!*shudder* Johnny Depp was as talented as ever, he has really made Jack Sparrow...oops Captain Jack Sparrow his own! They left the ending so open for the 3rd one that you could drive a ship through it!! Can't wait until next May...
Ooh tomorrow is Otley agility show, I'm looking forward to it mainly because there is only my Mum there to see me make an arse of things! I was meant to have Carolyn there but apparently not anymore. There aren't many in starters, only 103 or something, which sadly means less placings but maybe less competition *prays* However I expect it will be warm and I wouldn't put it past Poppy to go at her tractor on the country lane speed. Poor girly, daren't give her any energy bar... :-(
Going to the HEC thing at Harper Adams where I can learn about sheep health! Then back at college for one lesson and finally to Vetsim at Nottingham for the final leg of my UK tour.
I'm sure nobody read this, but it wasted 10minutes of my day.
