Ryan, a really cool guy I was lucky enough to meet during Manga Bento, passed away a few days ago and I really don't know how to react to his death. He was one of the very few people who introduced himself when I first started going. It's really unfair that a person who was always smiling and easy to talk to suddenly disappears. Although I was only involved with MB for a few years in high school, I always associated him with the main group of attendees who would always show up every meeting with sketchbooks filled with awesome-ness on levels I could only hope to reach.
So hey Ryan if you have internet access and can read this from whereever you are, I miss you dude. Thanks for being a part that made Saturdays fun and Kawaii Kon memorable. I'll hold onto that print I got from you forever. : )
