Got down to Ryan's around 7 cst.
went out to dinner with him, Lori, and Lori's sister Sam. great food. TONS of food. Cheesecake factory = amazing.
Saturday Ryan took me downtown to Quakes- a collectible toy shop that he's been frequenting since he first moved to the area.
I found Robot Heroes Grimlock and Ironhide for 2bucks each.
There was also what appeared to me a G1 Grimlock in a glass display case, marked for $35. I don't have the G1 Grimlock- even though he's been my favorite transformer for as long as I can remember. $35 is a great deal for one- as it also appeared to be in great condition- despite missing his gun. I requested to take it out, and Ryan went over it.
As he was doing so, he started snickering.
"I don't even have this one..." is what he whispered to me.
Turns out it's actually a G2 Grimlock in G1 colors- and is extremely rare.
naturally I bought that one as well.
When we got back to Ryan's apartment, he got me a spare set of stickers for the G2 Grimlock I'd purchased, and also haded me three more things:
1. Krok (a decepticon to battle all of my autobots)
2. Actionmaster Grimlock
and
3. Blue G2 Grimlock
so, my Grimlock collection doubled over one weekend.
Ryan and I also watched the premier of Transformers Animated season 3 together while celebrating our Irish heratige.
*snickers*
Baby shower was cute- I was only able to stay for about half of it though. Great food, games. and they got a ton of gifts. =D
I'M SO EXCITED I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT NEXT MONTH!
