In approximately 3 hours one of the most hellish experiences of my collegiate career will be over. I present my EDPS Multiculrtural Project on Bilingualism tonight. This thing has been such a headache for me...literally...i whacked my head on Em's bed really hard while I was organzing all my stuff. I really can't express how stressing this project was for me...I'm about ready to die.
The one thing I have learned from this project is this: READ DIRECTIONS
Don't just assume you are doing the right thing and then check after you're done. Usually I never do that, but my mind has been mushy this semester so what do you expect? Although here I must send a huge hug out to Em for helping me in the library for the longest time ever today to help me fix everything I messed up the first time. You are the bestest!
In other news, it seems that I will be pursuing a Social Studies major, Science minor and Language arts minor for Elementary Ed. The counselor said it would be ok and might be a good idea overall. So yay I suppose. Though I still have to look over my schedule stuff before I decide.
Speaking of that I got my schedule for Winter. 17 credits = yuck No classes Fridays = WOO!
That will leave my Fridays open for either an extra day of work, pre-student teaching experience, or general relaxation...not sure which yet.
Also, my FETE field trip was yesterday. Waited outside with Kevin and the rest of the group for over an hour in the freezing cold for a bus that never showed up. It sounds like it would have been a cool trip too. I'm fairly bummed and still not sure if I have to make it up.
Wouldn't you know that of all the possibilities out there, I got stuck with a Lumus...geez it sucks.
