POLICE BRUTALITY.
today at school, about 200 of my fellow students left Duarte High School at lunch time and walked to Hunington to meet up with students from Monrovia. We walked to meet up with students from Arcadia and El Monte. It was a friendly peaceful march, and we got thousands of honks with flags and signs. It was nice. We were constantly followed by the cops. Inch by inch. Things turnded bad when we got to the El Monte border. My friend Micheal was yelling stuff like "VIVA MEXICO." blah ya ya and stuff when a cop took a swing at him with his black bat thingy and then it turned into a riot. Tear gas, pepper bombs, paintball guns, other weapons, etc. It was hectic and some of my friends got arrested. We walked through 4 cities and back and I just got home. Pretty cool. I might go tomorrow.
