morning is finding good intentions under sleep's persuasion
Last night I went to go see Le Tigre and it was so much fun. Le Tigre is just the most fun band ever. They had cute little choreogrpahed dances they did. It was so fun.
So my boss at Gowanie has been kissing my ass lately because a lot of people are leaving to go back to school and she wants me to stay. But I'm going to be a waitress! Even though I hate Gowanie I think it will be worth it (they will only be open for a month and half more by the time I start) to drive back. Besides, I feel a lot more comfortable learning a whole new thing in a place where I already know how things work. Then I can get a job near Oakland. My boss who is a bitch will be training me. She told me I could 'run circles around our waitresses' and she is going to make sure I make a lot of money and 'kick everyone's ass'.
But I am actually really excited I am going to be waitressing in a nice restaraunt for sure in a month.
Between the 24th and the 16th though I am not going to work. It is more than I would like to be off for, but it really can't hurt to get adjusted well.
I just talked to my roomate Lea on the phone. She seems pretty cool and nice and she is incredibly laid back. She is a sophomore and she seems kind of alternative and has a pretty sarcastic sense of humor. As well as I know her so far, she is not really that compatible with me, but she doesn't seem like a bad roomate to have. I enjoy her sense of humor and I felt really comfortable talking to her.
I'm going to go float around.
