Today was better. Not that yesterday was bad, at all, but I think I managed a bit better. My energy was up, my panic reigned in, and my confidence building. I had definite moments of I am lucky to be a part of this.
When I came home and said we were having green beans for dinner, I got protests. "But I HATE green beans!" "Are you sure? Because these are Common Ground green beans. Farmer Shannon grew them with the kids." "Wow!" He ate them up. Raw.
Also I got invited out for a beer after work. Didn't take folks up on it today--still a big balancing act with the 2 jobs--but for the future I hope.
Sprinklers rule. They feed thirsty plants and make rainbows.
When I need a break to regroup, sheep can be good company.
