It wasn't the feeling the kicks or the 26 hours of labor, not when I held you in my arms and sang beautiful boy while I cried. It wasn't the snuggles at 2am when you puked on us both, and you felt better and although covered in vomit somehow I did too. It wasn't the first I love you or the first I hate you you spoke. But today, I earned what is clearly the Mom merit badge.
