(no subject)
so today i worked for meg, and i'm not thrilled about going back to georges. it's going to be a long summer. very long. i've got to get a real job. blahhhh.
happy thoughts -
*last night was a BLAST AND A HALF! :) not only did i get to see a ton of the fenwicks that i don't usually see, but i saw my cousins. and to make everything even better, matt liked everyone and had a good time too. hopefully the fenwicks liked him. 'cause lord knows i do.
*got paid $65 this morning, and dad's got a check from chamberlin for subbing. :) money money money. makes this kid pretty darn happy!
*did a little reading, practiced some calligraphy, have sort of a handle on my research paper, got my poster topic planned out and some information gathered, and i'm about to tackle putting my clothes up in the attic. we'll see how that goes. maybe i'll just put them in boxes or laundry baskets and deal with in when i come home in may. maybe.
i really am lucky to have such fun friends, loving family, and wonderful boyfriend. i'm very thankful for them right now - regardless of how frustrated i get with my current situation. i should tell people how much i appreciate them more often. i think i've come to the realization that i don't tell people how i feel about them often enough. life is too short to be so caught up in silly frustrations. i need to start living life with more passion and enjoyment.
so there's a new goal - live life with passion and excitement. starting now.
i did get a bunch of work done (along with a bunch of procrastinating, but oh well). i like this goal. i hope i stick to it!
ok, clothes and straight hair before pjs & reading & bed.
