Welcome to the fourth annual Kanjani8 fic exchange!
Before you sign up, please take a look at the rules to make sure you know what you're getting into.
Rules
∞ As this is a Kanjani8 exchange, all pairings must be between Kanjani8 members only. Other people can appear, but the fic should be mostly Kanjani8-centric. (Please note that this includes Uchi, so make sure you take that into account when saying who you will/won't write and do/don't want fic about.)
∞ You're welcome to request and/or offer to write 8UPPERS fic, but you must have at least two regular Kanjani8 pairings in addition to the 8UPPERS options for both writing and receiving.
∞ This is an anonymous fic exchange. When you get your assignment, it is up to you to keep your recipient a secret until the time of the reveals post (which will be a few days after the fics are posted).
∞ Fics must be at least 1000 words in length. (We won't bite your head off if they're 950 instead, but try to get close to 1000 words.) You have almost three months to write them, so this shouldn't be a problem as long as you plan ahead. ;D Please also have your fics beta read. We'll be taking volunteers for betas, so if you don't have one, just let us know and we'll help you out.
∞ We strongly suggest that you've written K8 (or at least some type of JE) fic in the past before participating in this exchange. There is a time limit when your fic needs to be finished, and if this is your first time writing, it might be difficult to meet that deadline.
∞ If you cannot complete your assignment on time, you can ask for an extension, but please do your best to finish on time. If too many people ask for extensions, we might have to delay fic posting. If you realize you won't be able to complete your assignment at all, please let the mods know as soon as possible so we can find a pinch hitter to take your assignment. Whatever you do, please don't just disappear without telling us you're not going to finish
∞ We will do our best to assign you to a recipient whose request you'll feel comfortable writing. However, if there is a problem with your assignment, please just let us know right away and we'll see what we can do to help.
