all right, poets, here is the what’s what.
unless you live in omaha, you probably have not heard of
the empty room project. nebraska poets are sharing the empty room with local furniture sculptors the month of november, and we’re calling it
organism: a festival of words & building. one of the poets’ projects? we’re wallpapering the empty room with poetry--and here’s where you come in.
send me your poems! any poems, all poems, old, new, previously published, wtfever--if it’s your poem freely donated to us, we will display it at the empty room. type it up and email it to emptyroompoetry@gmail.com; I will print and hang it so that anyone who enters the space all through november can marvel at your genius!
forward this to everyone. we’re planning to hang everything. if your grandmother wrote a poem in 1964, have her send it. if you’ve got a classroom full of students who are mastering haiku, we would love if they would send in their poems. and if we can fill the empty room? bo. nus.
DO IT DO IT PEER PRESSURE DO IT.
