Such a long week. I had like every deadline for work all in one week. Writing out comm. logs, Direct Support Professional award letters, amongst many other things. On Thursday I had my Direct Support Professional day and "Fish!" training seminars. Yea sure, get paid to be at a 9 hour seminar where you feed me a steak lunch and continental breakfast...SOUNDS EASY ENOUGH RIGHT? Nope...what a long feckin day! The first two seminars were about how to do your jobs right...I already knew that shit. Second seminar was about how to enjoy your work, "choose your attitude, be present, play, and make someone's day" the "Fish! Philosophy" Which is fine and good, I enjoyed it a lot as I recognized a lot of the material stemming from Brian Tracy's goal setting works, but I realized much the program was speaking after a model worker w/ a good attitude. Yea so I realized I was like that at work already, hence why people come to me at the office. Its kinda cool, because not 5mins after the seminar was over, this lady Dawn, whom had wanted me to work as hear assistant director, I interviewed and pretty much landed the job but I declined on her for another opportunity, she came to me and said..wow that whole thing reminded me of what you do in the office. Needless to say I was extremely surprised that someone would think of me like that. Its one thing to say to yourself , "wow i can't belive how awesome I am" lol, but for someone to be thinking that I am that guy. So that "made my day".
Friday night was a friend and fellow co-worker Denise's final night w/ the company and in town from what I understand. So a bunch of us along w/ my buddy Dan and his bro Rusty when to the coast guard house in Narragansett and hung out w/ the gang from work. What would follow is the probably now and soon to be brewing story of "HOW FUCKIN DRUNK SEAN WAS FRIDAY NIGHT" story to be circulating around the office. Sad thing is, I can only remember parts of the evening. I have had small pieces told to me but still to no avail or no recollection of said events. After leaving Dan's place having downed 3 beers before leaving, we went to the coast guard house where I supposedly (So Dan has told me) I had like 4 drinks and left w/ out paying on the tab...then we went to poncho o'malley's (helluva name for a club??) I was supposedly hanging out w/ a bunch of black guys and one of which looked like Pokey Reese so hence I deemed him Pokey for the rest of the night, he didnt seem to mind cuz I'm still alive today so, also where I was heard singing lyrics to Wu Tang Clan and basically dancing w/ everygirl from the office and stealing peoples drinks. By 1:30 Courtney had made her way down and took me home, dispite my car being at Dan's place in SK. I dont remember much from that point on either...Saturday morning aka 11:00am I woke up to an awesome hangover.
Now I'm at home waiting for Bready to pick me up so we can construct some crazy assed entranceway for RW 's next show Nov. 13th. down at the Loomis. Should be fun considering I just came back from the gym and I can't lift or move my neck or shoulders...Thank you Xplode and MD1T!!! Well thats it for now...not much more until later. And why not my red sox wishlist now that we are officially in the offseason-
Trot Nixon to Oakland for Barry Zito or Mulder(probably Mulder but the Sox do need a lefty cuz I'm sure Mike Myers will be gone)
Resign Pedro and V-Tek
Say goodbye to Derek Lowe, he's off to the Yankees or Detroit
Orlando Caberra(sorry I love the guy but I dont see him staying here if they keep Petey and Tek)
and sell off Byung Yung Shits to Japan to get more money to bring in Carl Pavano(interesting note tho...should the sox lose Pedro and gain Pavano, it would be similar seeing thats who the sox gave up in 98 to get Pedro)
Pick up Barry Larkin or Omar Vizquel play dice w/ Pokey and Bellhorn at 2B.
If they put Manny on waivers again I'll be pist cuz there ain't no way your signing Carlos Beltran to fuckin a 10yr multi million dollar deal. It's just as bad and its almost the same deal just over longer years. Who's to say this guy will stay healthy?? Ehh I'd love Beltran but..I don't see it he'll be in NY.
