School is too much of a drag these days... eekk... so many homework assignments I could drown in them. Anyway, eventhough i had tons of work. I was way too busy angsting over the fact that my homework-doing time eats up most of my freetime (XD) so I made this short drabble about no anime whatshoever. Just a little drabble i made... XD
To Dream
The people continued to stare. Mumbling amongst them at how weird she was acting (or looking).
Oblivious to the outside world, the girl sat in her corner table. A bright smile painted her pretty face; she let out a content sigh.
“Do you… want to dance…?”
The girl looked up at the boy and smiled brightly, taking his waiting hand, “I would,”
And the two danced as the lights around them flickered. The boy smiled, while she brightly gazed back with pure bliss reflecting in her eyes.
I want to stay like this forever…
“Miss?”
A voice called to her, breaking her beautiful trance.
The girl slowly sat up, rubbing her forehead. She looked around. It seemed like she had fallen asleep again. It’s bound to happen when you to an important social gathering alone after all.
She blinked again and turned to the stranger who called to her and mumbled a soft ‘thank you’. The person smiled and waved and soon went on his way.
The girl heaved out a heavy sigh, her heart clenched as she stared after his retreating back longingly.
After all, the only place where she can be together with her prince was in her dreams.
