Tonight brought my first one-on-one interaction with a potentially interested member of the opposite sex in what feels like forever and a month. We sat in the Border's cafe for hours discussing our schools, our families, our religions, then browsed through books and I really could have stared up into his face all night, rattling on about some author while trying to make sure I didn't swoon or stutter or drool. He walked me to my car and I kept him standing there as long as possible with only slightly awkward conversation, and my most come-hither glances, but maybe it's good that our first kiss didn't come under the harsh lights of a parking garage with teenagers loitering all around. Then I second guess myself, and wonder if he's actually interested, and if it's a bad sign that he didn't even try to kiss me.

So, was it even a date? Maybe just co-workers meeting for coffee.

He did pay for my chai tea, though. And he was wearing cologne.

[and ohmigod I just want to make out with his biceps, they're so fucking hot.]
