rEnt!
last nite me, lora, cristi, dickie, and kevin went to watch rEnT. it wuz pretty good actually. for those of you who dont know the story, look it up..hahaha i dont think that i would do the story justice. so neways, the actors/actresses were really awesome...good voices, but i couldnt really get into the story since i couldnt see their face expressions. i think i'm one of those ppl that need to see their faces so i can get into the show. cuz i'm not gona lie, i tear up in movies, but its cuz the actors/actresses pull me in and you get to see their emotion. during the emotional parts of the show the lady next to me started to tear, i saw her wiping the tears off of her face. i was like..."awwwwww", and then i look to my left and i see dickie gettin teary-eyed too! ^_^
so overall the show wuz entertaining...'cept for mimi. she wuz horrible. at first her voice wuz toleratable, and her dancing wuz pretty good, she's VERY flexible. but as the show progressed, her voice started to get worse and worse. and everytime she needed to sing the high notes, she sounded like she wuz off-key. pickle said that she prolly was jus tired from over practicing or wutnot, so i understand...but iono...her voice wuz jus annoying. so after the show we were standing outside the theatre waiting for iono wut, and i heard this guy make a comment about mimi, he said "i wish mimi had died instead." i wuz like.."wow"...hahaha i guess it wuznt jus us that noticed it. i feel kinda bad for her, but im thinkin that maybe she wuz jus having a bad nite...cuz y would a big broadway musical cast someone that bad??? right?? eh o well...
ok, so backtracking, we had dinner at GREEK ISLANDS, which is only about 5 mins from my apt. food wuz really good! we had wine and it wuz really weird...cuz i felt like we were in sex and the city..hahaha...'cept it wuz 2 girls and 3 boyz...but it wuz awesome. i missed hanging out w/ them. i remember back in undergrad when we would always hangout..practically everyday. ahh memories.... ^_^ even though NiU isnt as prestigious academically as UofI, or UMich, or wutever big state school there is, i loved it there. i felt so at home and carefree....although there were moments of stress due to exams or extra-curriculars, i was always able 2 turn to these ppl and get their support or have them keep my mind off of things. i remember all the upperclassmen telling me to enjoy your time here because before you know it, its over. and i totally agree...i feel like it wuz only yesterday that i lived @ NiU w/ these wonderful ppl. i luv u guys! thanks for always bein there for me and you know that i'm always here whenever you need me K?? MUAH!!!
ok changing subject..NOW..
i'm almost done w/ my first yr of pharm school....cant believe that i only have one month left and i can say im now a P2! crazy how time REALLLY does fly....AND i jus recently turned 21!! yay me!!! school has been soo crazy...we finished our last round of exams this past tuesday...so now i have time to go out and relax for a few....b4 i got back under my rock....SAAAAAAD!!!! o well...i cant wait until summer...time to jus work and hangout! things to look forward to this summer: NiU alumni banquet (May 5), pickle ^_^ , hanging out w/ my 1093 brothelians, my COP ladies, ooo hopefully FLORiDA to visit joe-joe, finding a new apt, o basically EVERYTHiNG! i cant wait....for SUMMER!!!!
