Spring Break official update
Alrity then! So here it is.
Saturday was my flight from Boston. It snowed 8 inches and my flight was delayed by an hour and then some. Once I finally got on the place (4 HUGE beers later) it was delayed for another almost 2 hours because they had to defrost the plane since the wings were frozen. I felt really safe, let me tell ya! It finally takes off and I land in humid Miami around 10 pm and take a taxi to the Hotel since the girls landed on time - 4ish!
First night everyone was beat, so we took a taxin into town around midnight to grab some late night supper. We walked around Lincoln ave and enjoyed the beauty of short skirts, tiny shirts, and lots of gay guys. Not gonna lie, it was actually really nice since I just got there from SNOW!
Sunday I woke up a little after 6 am (don't ask) and moped around waiting for Rach and Heath to wake up. I went for a run along the beach. Walked by the water. Explored our hotel, the heated pool, the surroundings. Then finally sat around and watched TV. Around 9.30 the girls got up and we headed to the beach which was right in the back of our hotel. Slept on the beach. I got BURNT to a CRISP! Went into town for some lunch. Went back to the hotel for a huge nap. Rachel went out with her cousins and Heath and I started drinking in the hotel. Met our good pet the cockroach. That thing was HUGE! I climbed up on the chair and refused to get down. Heath tried chasing it around. We finally captured it and threw it outside. I spoke to Sebs and once Mike picked us up, we all met up at Nicki Beach (I don't really know how to spell it) for some huge ass party/club thing. Never went to go inside. Just stayed on the beach...drank. Saw Walter - well actually he saw me. We chatted a bit. Got hit on by some drunk dude and Sebs saves my ass. Went home around 5am and crashed. I found another cockroach on my FOOT when we got in.
Monday we talked to the hotel pplz and got out room moved. No more cockroaches for us! Went down a few blocks so I could buy a shitload of sunscreen and aloe. Then layed out on the beach. After nap time we went over to the Shelley with Mike and met his friends from Jersey. They were awesome, not to mention I was drunk by the time we got to their hotel. Went to the liquor store, got some beers and kept drinking. Then went to some small rock bar. Drank and danced (yes I found a pole...hey, I had a lot to drink!). Then went to the Clevelander till 5am. Danced alot. I was shitfaced. The sunburn was killing me, not to mention my poor innocent feet from all the walking. Went back and passed out at the hotel.
Tuesday - beach. Nap. Then went out with kids Heath met the night before. They picked us up on bikes...and by that I mean motorcycles (Rach thought that maybe they were bicycles - LOL). Went to the Mansion. Got in with barely any wait. Danced (barely since it was HUMID like woah, a shitload of ppl crammed and fucking couched and tables in the middle of the fucking floor). Drank ALOT again...took shots with Peanut (our new friend) and Heath. Went to the Clevelander. Met up with the twins from Umass, Jason and Josh. Around 5am we went to the boys' hotel to chill for a while a have a couple more beers. I fell asleep (after jumping up and down on their beds haha). They put lotion ALL OVER my face - I'm not so sure why that was so fucking funny. Around 6.30am we grabbed a cab back to our hotel and I passed out.
Wednesday took the day off from the beach. Walked into town. Grabbed brunch at the Cafeteria - LIKE SEX n the CITY!!!! Our waiter looked suicidal! haha yet very charming. Almost got killed by the shade thingy falling. Window shopped. Went back to the hotel and passed out. The girls went out with the CT guys from the night before while I stayed in bed. Walked into town again with one of my friends to grab a cup of coffee and then spent the night on the phone and watching TV. One of the CT boys tried to get it on with Rach when they got back so I left the room. She apparently wouldn't have it and he left broken hearted. HA! Heath got in wicked late and looked like she fell into the water. Yeah hilarious!
Thursday beach day. Nap. The girls went to the game. I went out with Walter and his friends - all from Umass. Went to Senor Frogs. Drank alot. Danced. Lost my phone. Freaked. Got in a fight with Walter. Left at 3am pissed off. The girls got home around the same time so it was all good.
Friday beached it. Found my phone cuz some girls picked it up at the bar. Took a nap. Went out to dinner with Justin - Heath's old time friend...holy WOW! lol. Ocean ave dinner...then Heath and I went to the Shelley to meet up with the jersey kids. Walter and friends were all right there...akward. Chatted with his buddies when he wasn't around. Love em. Mike Dave Heath and I went to go out after a few beers at the hotel. I felt like shit plus had to get up early to take a flight home. That was my 3rd day with no voice BTW. Went home after grabbing soem pizza in town. TV and bed.
Saturday I flew back...parents attempted to revive me...my throat was all closed up, scratched...cough unbareable...how the fuck did I go out at all?! Went shopping with mommi for some cute shoes, tops, and a skirt. Relaxed in the basement and passed out early.
Sunday got back to UMass. Lunch with Gianni and Jimbo. Then hung around and napped with Gianni. Visited Jen at work, then sat in Coolidge for a while to keep my other half entertained. :)
Overall vaca: lotsa drinking, lotsa control over myself (I think I'm an adult now officially), lotsa phone conversations (that was actually really sweet), no ass for a week - that sucked but well worth the wait, lotsa bonding with Heather - damn did I miss her!, lotsa sun - haha I'm darker than the italian! Missed Gianni alot which actually also made me think about things alot :)
And now I'm back at work. Going to do my best to make a shitload for my start-up life...Things are insane. I can't wait but at the same time I'm a little anxious. Oh well. Life goes on and I'm sure that this will be a great change for me :) Meanwhile, I'm going to go get sum shit done here.
