what a waste of energy...

ok, here's the deal. i just walked all the way over to the ryder because i was supposed to work in the training room. well the traiing room is closed right now which means there is no baseball practice. grrr. i wish they would tell me when they do that. on the schedule there is a question mark, meaning they could have it, or they might not, all depends on how they did over the weekend. they won 1 out of 4 at grand valley, so i figured they would have it. so i walked all the way over there for nothing. so now i am back here and i have to go back in an hour for my football meeting. how fun is that. i had no coaching class today. that was nice. got to sleep a little more and i didnt have to go to a very boring class. last night i stayed up till 3 or so. i was watching discovery channel. they had a story on the ark, as in noah's ark. it was really interesting. they talked about what happened according to the bible. then they took a scientific approach to show that it would be impossible. that there was no way that the whole earth could be flooded in 40 days, and that it would be impossible to get all those animals on and the boat would sink because of the way it was made. it was kinda cool, all the things they were coming up with. they were saying that maybe asteroids helped flood the earth because they are made of ice. but then they said that if that happened the ark would have went up in flames for some reason. then they came up with the theory that i have always been thinking about. it was that maybe the whole earth wasnt flooded, maybe it was just that area. why would God need to flood the whole earth. the reason behind the flood was to get rid of all the rotten humans that were sinning and rebelling against God. well there wasnt any humans in the other parts of the world. just in the middle east. so why flood the whole world. so that requires less water, and requires noah to only put on the animals that was in his area. much more realistic. then they showed how archaelogists have found sand and soil in the ground that dates back to that time period. plus they found stones with writing on them telling the story about the flood. so ding dong. they havent found the ark at all. but they say they probably wont. wood rots quickly and probably would have broken down by now. and the ice at the top of mt. ararat would have pushed the ark down to the bottom or somehting like that. i dunno. they think they saw an outline of the ship once, but they dont know because of the rough conditions on the mountan. but newho. who knows. it was pretty cool though. they also said that maybe it was just all a miracle and that it would never be scientifiaclly explained. hey, we are dealing with God here, anything is possible. the number of miracles he performed in the bible are beyond number. i have faith in God and faith in what is written, and that is all that matters. well its time for me to get ready for football practice.
