Heart Attack Grill

Okay, so Sara, Dave, and one of my friends (also named David) went and tried out the Heart Attack Grill (and Diet Center). It was a slightly-family friendly burger joint unabashedly making good food that's not good for you. In big red letters, on the door, it says "The contents of this restaurant are bad for your health."

And it's easy to see why- the fries are cooked in pure lard (and heavily salted), the milkshakes are 25% butter fat content- which not only is one of the highest in the world, it's more butter fat than you see in most ice creams, and you can taste it- it was delicious. The milkshake even comes with a three-gauge straw, so that you can actually manage to get any milkshake up it into your fat face. >:D

The food was a little pricey, but mostly you're going because of the atmosphere and the waitresses- and it delivers. Each 'patient' at the Heart Attack Grill (and Diet Center) must wear a faux-hospital gown, the 'nurses' are dressed out of a 'naughty nurse' Halloween costume catalog, and the 'Doctor' walks around grilling and delivering burgers.

* - I should note, none of the nurses were actually dressed
like this when we ate there. They were wearing slightly tight
white versions of generic medical 'candy striper' uniforms.

In any case, the food was good, the sides were good, it was a little pricey, but it was fun, and surprisingly family-friendly. There were a bunch of older couples there while we were eating, and at least two families with little kids, all sitting at the counter munching away. Not as bad as I had been 'warned,' although my buddy's family refused to go because of what they had heard about the slutty nurses.

Seriously, though- this food might not be good for you, but it is tasty good.
