[ Location: The park.
The scene: A wet boy sitting on the grass toying with the starfish communicator thingy.
Unbeknownst to him, the starfish (which he thinks is just some toy) is on and recording.
There is also a duck sitting next to him. It quacks. ]
Okay, this is exactly where you're meant to shine, Maebara. When the pressure's on and things heat up, you keep your cool. I'm cool. Cool, totally and absolutely! It'll take more than...whatever it is that's going on to make me loose my cool.
[ To be honest, he feels a bit chilly, being all wet. ]
Giant underwater living bubble. Okay. Yeah. I've got this. I'm either dreaming or I've been abducted by aliens. Sexy aliens, maybe?
[ A pause.
He groans melodramatically,shakes the starfish, and holds his head. ]
GYRAH! No matter how I look at it, it's pretty clear that I'm going crazy! There's no way I've been abducted by aliens, hot or otherwise--aliens don't exist! I've got to be going crazy. Am I crazy?
[ He questions the duck.
The duck quacks. ]
Yeah, yeah, leave it to a duck to call me a quack. What do you know, anyway? You're no help. You eat out of the same water you poop in.
[ He falls onto his back, holding the starfishthingy up into the air and staring at it. ]
Aliens, fairies, underwater civilizations, and a duck. Just what've I gotten myself into this time?
[ Quack. ]
