Step by Step, Heart to Heart, Left, Right, Left, We All Fall Down Like Toy Soldiers...
Bit by Bit, Torn Apart, We Never Win But The Battle Wages On For Toy Soldiers...

Long time no post, huh? So what happened so far?

---School Shit---

I'm on Academic Probation. YAY!

Classes start and are fun. Let's break'em down:

Identity & Imagination (MWF 11:00-11:50): It's about women in the arts, I didn't know that until I showed up for it too. It's with my Sophmore RoundTable teach from last semester, but she seems more tolerable when the class is only 50 minutes instead of 3 hours. The first book we read was a graphic novel, so far it's cool.

Ethics (MWF 2:00-2:50): It's essentially a class that for the most part is the debate and discussion of ethics and philosopher's opinion about ethics. The first chapter which we just finished was 'Lord of the Flies' & Hobbes' 'Leviathan' on the State of Nature.

Shakespeare II (TTh 11:00-12:15): Many people don't like Shakespeare, but I do. I don't think he's some literary genius for taking commonly told stories and putting them into a five act structure, but I do enjoy reading his work. This class is JUST the tragedies. We started with Romeo & Juliet and are now on Hamlet. It's fun to watch so many people pissed off about Hamlet's whining.

History of Science (TTh 2:00-3:15): The teacher is essentially Mr. Rogers gone Nuts. From talking about what to do in case he dies to an obsession with eating (Ants, Termites, Mammoths, and Neanderthals in one class!), this guy is WEIRD, but it makes class VERY enjoyable.

Work? Yea, I'm back at the Post Office... hours are MWF from 8am to 11am. Fun! Plus, I got a rookie working with me, and I am spending most of the time correcting his mistakes, in two weeks I got the majority of the job DOWN, yet in the same time he can't remember to scan the packages.

The Room Switch. It's happenin' this weekend. Finally finished the paper work, Austin was hesitant because Myles FAILED to explain all this to him when he was supposed to last semester... Question is: a) How to get it all moved and b) Where to put it all? I'm thinking of sticking the TV in the corner instead of the stand to save room, but I don't know, the goal is still to have a Double as a Single in the fall.

---Other Shit---

Upon arriving at school I found that I had been robbed (alot of us were). I had stolen my DVD Player, my PS2 (Including the memory card with the 98% Complete Vice City file and the 100% Complete Kingdom Hearts file, not to mention all my saved finished game files), and two DVD's: The Matrix, and The Matrix Revolutions. They didn't take The Matrix Reloaded... I don't know why. Any way, I filed a complaint with the school, the security and the Cops, they said they'll check if they can find any of it at a Pawn Shop... I doubt it though... I did go get another DVD player though.

BTW, in case you HAVEN'T heard about this, it's a website of the US Soldiers in Iraq's photos. It's called Under Mars, some are nice photos of scenary and such. Some are disturbing photograph of dead and often mutilated bodies of Iraqis, with "funny" subtitles (ex. Dead Iraqi with eye blown out of head with subtitle "Ok, You keep an Eye out for the Americans" or a burned and bloody man's face with "Come on and give me some suger"). Most of the sick shit is on page 50-56. Not for the weak of heart, or for anyone who has the "unamerican" trait of honoring the deceased.

Also, with Valentine's Day on the way I've prepared my list of songs I will be listening to on the most Romantic Day of the year so I don't have to listen to all the lovey dovey bullshit:
