My vacation schedule SUCKS. I wanted to work day so I could finally hang out with people :( . I wrote it all down for him, but he conveniently overlooked the hour part of my schedule request and just gave me this load of crap:
Today: 12-8 as usual
Tomorrow: 12-8 as usual
Monday: 10-4, that works
Tuesday: 4-9, okay
Wednesday: 4-10, not cool
Thursday: Off
Friday: I was working 5-10 but that is ridiculous since I requested it off and that would have made it so my entire vacation was all of 2 nights.
Saturday: 12-8, usual
Sunday: 12-10...IS HE SERIOUS? First of all, I have school on Monday, and second of all, I don't drive. But if I leave at 8 AS USUAL, my employment is no longer needed? He makes me want to shoot myself. Apparently everyone else does TWELVE hour shifts sometimes, so I should be able to handle 10. Maybe I'm not everyone else, pal. Sunday nights are DEAD. Dead dead dead dead. I won't even have homework to do. And he randomly yelled at me today for standing around waiting for the phone to ring..which he told me to do.
Well, on the bright side, it's 35 hours. If I make about thirty dollars in tips for 16 hours, I could make around 60. I don't know how busy it is during the week, though. And I'll have a nice paycheck. But I need to buy tanning soon, and new/spring clothes. Oh priorities, haha.
My iPod case somehow broke apart in my purse, so it's out of commission until I get a new one, hopefully this week. It didn't even last three months. My mom mentioned going to the mall on Thursday though, idk. I decided on a soft skin this time, because I'm not going to spend $25 bucks every three months.
My Spanish average is an 86 right now :(. I got a 70 on the test, mer. But tests are weighted the same as quizzes, so I figure I have to get at least 95s on everything be it homeworks or quizzes from now until May and I'll have an A and won't have to take the final. Orrrr, I could deal with getting a few A's and having an 87ish, then getting all A's the second half and when they average they'll be a 90 or something and I won't have to take the final. Goal here is not to take Spanish or English finals.
I know I'm basically failing Jazz Improv., so I don't care if I just come for that one final.
If I get anything lower than an A in Meteorology I need to be shot, and I definitely have an A in band.
Oh, seniorage.
I heard we have to do the final English scrapbook project thing, but if we have an A we don't have to come on the day? Why don't they ever tell us anything?
We're still all trying to come to a unanimous conclusion about what the senior passes actually do for us, too. They need instructions or something.
But it's all okay because the senior tees and hoodies come in after vacation! :)
My mom and I decided, "unless I act up," the Monday after vacation is going to be amazing:
Concert Band
Meteorology
Jazz Improv
Something brunchy or lunchy
ECSU for Admitted Students Day
Something dinnery.
I miss my two real classes, neither of which I have to make anything up for. Yup, it's great.
English proj + scholarship consideration essay (first of about 20, if I get considered for them all) = major stress. I know I'm going to keep putting off both, which is so unlike me. If I don't get the essay done by tomorrow morning and the project/all the crafty shit I need by Wednesday, I'm Fucked, yes, with a capital F.
mm Rockstar♥ so awake, so bored, house to myself all day tomorrow, hopefully into the wee hours of the night. Going to watch a Disney movie or something now; I wonder if we have Finding Nemo...
