Black Friday, sorta
Compared to Black Fridays past, today really wasn't too bad at the bookstore.
I mean, we were busy, but not exceptionally so for a Friday. Since we weren't offering any deals, and especially no doorbusters, the people who came in were mostly looking to order books for the holidays or just shopping for ideas, not looking to seal the deal with a purchase.
Fine by me. I'll take a slow Black Friday over a crazy frenzy any day. I'd rather sell a book because someone thinks their mother/father/brother/daughter will want to read it, not because someone thought it was a great deal.
