To sew or not to sew?
I think I will give myself a pedicure tomorrow.
What should my toenails be? They're bright red right now; I'm thinking maybe a mellower color this time. Not neutral, tho'. Ugh. Don't need that.
Midterm today. I studied like crazy for it. I finished it really quickly, and usually that works out fine so I want to feel confident, but I always feel so nervous in Sally's classes.
I am going to take a break from fashion design for a semester or two, I think. On the one hand, I really, really like clothes and designing them. But on the other hand, I hate patternmaking and construction. It is leading me to wonder, "Is this really the path I want to take?" I know that I want to be a 'professional artist' when I finish school, but maybe fashion isn't the medium I really want.
So no fashion courses come fall. I'm taking as many classes as I possibly can on-line during both summer and fall, and I'm hoping that this will enable me to work a decent number of hours.
Sometimes, tho', I just get this feeling like I ought to quit my job and focus on school.
But the job is fun.
So we keep it.
