Mothers are masochistic
Why on earth would we (majority of us anyway) willingly put up with sleep deprivation and loss of personal freedom?
It's T-22 hours till we leave for our first family vacation. We picked Sanya for it's proximity and our knowledge of Hilton Sanya. I hope Clover behaves on the plane; else it's only an hour long flight for other passengers to suffer through. I guess it's payback for all those years I had to put up with wailing babies.
I've mentioned previously that Hilton is upgrading us to a suite. Hopefully this means that ww can second Clover to a dark corner and enjoy a wee bit of alone time after she's in bed. It'll be a weekend of room service and potentially a first swim for Clover.
Before that, we I have the enviable task of packing for all three of us since Mr. P is crap busy at work - he has a conference call at 9pm tonight WTF. I've laid out the clothes last night and for a 3D2N trip we are bringing a whole arsenal of stuff. There goes the days of travelling light!
It's my birthday weekend but I doubt I'll be getting much rest. All I really want is for Clover to sleep 12 hours and not fuss so much. Oh and that pair of MIKIMOTO pearl earrings plus possibly a facial / scrub at the Hilton Spa!
