You Are A Month Old!
Hello Clover,
Happy one month! You are a big girl now.
Some stats to start us off
@ Birth : Weight - 2.86 kg (2.61 kg when we took you home) / Length - 45 cm / Head - 33 cm
Now : Weight - 3.8 kg / Length - 52 cm / Head - 37 cm
In this past week you have caused me a fair amount of tears with your discomfort and obvious distressed in your cries. My heart breaks a little each time I see your pained expressions. Mummy would have your pain if I could.
You seemed to be down with a case of silent reflux; unable to spit out the regurgitated milk causing you pain in your throat / oesophagus all week! However Friday morning you vomitted twice in an hour and got into a better mood all day.
I took you to the doctor who insisted you have colic. I am not so sure darling but it doesn't matter as long as you are well and healthy. I am praying that the worse is over and that you will have a more comfortable and pleasant week ahead.
