Hi Clover,
Happy two weeks!
In the last 7 days, your dad and I have taken you out on not one, not two but THREE occasions to see your pediatrician and get the admin stuff done so that you can come with us to Sanya in April. You have put on a hefty 400g since we took you home!
This week you have been a pretty fussy child; constantly stuck to my chest (someone needs to invent a handsfree breastfeeding harness to strap you to me chest pronto!) in the afternoons, refusing to be left alone one bit.
You are one hell of an impatient child - always demanding to be fed IMMEDIATELY - and a mightily expressive one; the best bits have got to be your satiated grins after feedings. You are also more alert and have taken to entertain us with "crazy eyes" after a bath.
Looks like you are turning out to be daddy's little girl; you love nothing more than to fall asleep on with daddy. According to mummy's lactation consultant it could be due to him not smelling like food on legs (i.e. me), nothing to distract you from falling into dreamland. Well I can't help it if I smell like breastmilk all the time!
My love, please be gentle on mummy. I hope you have inherited your daddy's chilled nature so that we can all have a more restful week ahead.
Love always,
Mummy xoxo
