An "I told you so" moment

I should have known; to trust my own instinct, my own desire. Instead, I went for expediency; half heartedly committing resources toward a product I couldn’t-wouldn’t-shouldn’t endorse.

I should have known; that once my heart was set, nothing could change it.  And yet I persisted; hoping maybe just once I could stare at the item and slowly fall
