I'm posting from my new computer. Everything seems to be working perfectly (my only installation mishaps were minor: swapping power and reset buttons, and accidentally pulling off the GPU power connector, leading to a horrible noise that made me very anxious until I figured it out). The parts I bought (mentioned before) are working great, other than the fact that my case's power LED is insanely bright. I placed one of the 8 "powered by" stickers over it, and it's still bright.
